Move Over Potatoes, Here Come Turnips

Ingredients
1 large turnip
3 cloves of garlic
1 red onion
2 tbsp vegan butter
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Garnish with parsley (optional)
Preparation
1. Peel the turnip using a potato peeler and slice it into even, round pieces.
2. Mince the garlic and chop the onions. Heat the vegan butter and olive oil in a pan.
3. Once hot, add the minced garlic and chopped onions.
4. Add the turnip slices to the pan and saut� until they begin to lightly brown, approximately 5 minutes.
5. Pour in the unsweetened almond milk and sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer until the sauce is reduced and thickened.
6. Garnish with parsley, if desired, for an extra touch of flavor.
