Grapefruit Thyme Fizz

Benefits of grapefruit and thyme

Who says Mocktails have to be a boring, high sugar drink without any benefits? This grapefruit thyme fizz proves those assumptions wrong.

Grapefruit is loaded with vitamin C and has a ton of healing benefits like breaking down fat, lowering cholesterol, and reducing blood pressure. The thyme on the other hand supports your body in fighting acne, boosts immunity and mood, and prevents bacterial infections. Plus I’m using only one stevia, this is a great low sugar, gut friendly drink!

Ingredients

1. In a small saucepan combine water and sugar over medium heat, stir until stevia is dissolved.

2. Remove from heat, add thyme and stir, let stand for 20 minutes and cool.

3. Add ice, juice of half a grapefruit, and 1 tbsp thyme syrup to a glass.

4. Add the soda water, stir, and top with thyme garnish. Enjoy!

1 cup water

1 packet of stevia (or sugar equivalent, check ratios)

1 handful of thyme sprigs

Juice of half a grapefruit

3 oz of Drink Ah-ha grapefruit soda water

Garnish with grapefruit slice and sprig of thyme
